Description
Established in 1936 by hunter-turned-conservationist Jim Corbett, Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand has the distinction of being the first national park in India. The lush forests of Corbett are home to one of the most sought-after mammal species - the Tiger.

Besides Tigers, Corbett park also plays host to the Asian Elephant, Indian Leopard, Sambar, Chital, Golden Jackal, Sloth Bear and 600+ species of resident and migratory birds.

Our naturalist / forest guides will accompany you on the safaris to the park and help you find species that are on your wishlist to ensure a memorable experience for you.

Day 01: Delhi to Corbett National Park

Meals: Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Tiger Camp Resort or similar

Arrive in Delhi and drive to Corbett National Park (6 hrs drive). Corbett National Park is a forested wildlife sanctuary in Uttarakhand, that is rich in flora and fauna and is known for its Tigers, Asian Elephants, and many more animals and birds. Upon arrival, check-in at the resort. 

After lunch, go for a jeep safari to explore the habitats that support an amazing population of elephants in the western Himalayas. In the summer, Asian Elephants can be seen in herds of several hundred. Return to the resort in the evening. 

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Corbett National Park

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Tiger Camp Resort or Similar

The early morning is the best time for animal and bird sightings, so you will head for a jungle safari. If possible, do have a quick friendly chat with your jeep driver and forest guide about elephants, tigers, and the forest in general. Their knowledge of the area is immense and unmatched. Return to the resort for breakfast.

Relax for a while and, after lunch, you have the evening free for local sightseeing on your own.

Dinner and overnight stay.
